(And don't diss your own site--I wish my blog were more like yours! Your posts are short, succinct, thoughtful, funny, and illustrated with great art.)Frankie Anonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06093324566743581868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7283311941287619790.post-6970365045894267832009-05-12T00:43:00.000-05:002009-05-12T00:43:00.000-05:00Your writing is some of my favorite. After reading something that evokes so much raw emotion, my use of blog-space is somewhat embarrassing. You are truly a gifted writer. I don't know if you listen to country music, but every time I have something terrible happen in my life, I listen to "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" by Lorrie Morgan. It's so true, we have these awful things happen and somehow we get through it and come out stronger. I'm so happy you that you did, too. **HUGS**Bobby Allanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17362990178566295070noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7283311941287619790.post-49426331639307514452009-05-08T16:43:00.000-05:002009-05-08T16:43:00.000-05:00Lak, I used to do Yoga regularly, but haven't in a...Lak, I used to do Yoga regularly, but haven't in a while. But exercise definitely helps on a day-to-day basis. I haven't done meditation, but I've considered it. There is actually a meditation center near my house. I guess I was in denial about my mental health for a long time. I thought that "anyone would be depressed with all this stuff" -- there were also quite a few deaths in my family, which I haven't written about. But the heaviness just never went away. I guess some people will think I'm weak, but I have found a solution that is working for me. That said, I do need to do more exercise and reflection and I need to consciously take more time just to have fun and enjoy life. Maybe I'll go back to yoga! I really loved it.Frankie Anonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06093324566743581868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7283311941287619790.post-5536774018366281372009-05-08T16:00:00.000-05:002009-05-08T16:00:00.000-05:00Frankie,

I think i'm at that stage where i'm in a complete denial about my mental health. I'm too afraid to admit anything. I just keep hoping i'll start feeling better. I'm going to try the Yogic way of dealing with it. <br />Have you tried yoga or meditation?Laknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7283311941287619790.post-14994262523329550782009-05-08T09:34:00.000-05:002009-05-08T09:34:00.000-05:00Rae, lol, I'll write about pillowcases next.
